Inquiring Minds Want To Know.....

We went to a wedding back in 2010, we were good friends of the bride and her mom and our daughter was an attendant in the wedding. They sat us at the family table next to Uncle Jerry & Aunt Nancy (pictured above). We'd not met them before. As we got to know them, they told us about their lifestyle. They were full-time rv-r's and had been for about 15 years. That sparked an idea. Especially in light of how the economy was still sinking.

At this time, we owned our independent motorcycle repair shop for 22 years. We had ridden the recession for two years by this time. We felt like we needed a 'Plan B'. That began the search for an RV we could actually live in. We knew we didn't want to take off with a lot of debt and our truck and camper were paid off already. That just wasn't something we thought we could live in long term so we sold that (as well as some other toys we owned) and found and purchased our motorhome. Then the fun began. The paint was in terrible condition so we prepped the motorhome and had it painted. We have done remods to the interior and over the last 7+ years have had some mechanical repairs done.

So, for us, Uncle Jerry & Aunt Nancy have become great friends and an endless source of information on the how-to of full-timing. Without them, this journey would have been fraught with so many more unknowns.

Now, it's time for us to pay it forward with info that might help someone else take on this new life. It's much less stressful to live like this. And since our children are all over the US, we can see them more often. We aren't of retirement age yet so we plan jobs out that take us to wherever we want to visit next. That way, we get in family time as well.

There's a wealth of information and experiences we have and would love to share to help someone take that leap!

Pop over to our YouTube channel and listen and like our videos if you're at all interested or have ever entertained the idea of changing it up from the norm.
